Hmmm. Maybe I should be looking a new vet too.
As for boarding . The dog I have now has never been in a kennel since we adopted him.

I had planned to look at a few kennels one day when I first moved to Florida (I had 2 senior dogs). I chose the first one I looked at because they were active in Grey Hound Rescue. So, I figured they were really animal lovers. I always felt like they took good care of my dogs and my dogs liked the people. They were not cheap. The only thing that ticked me off is that jacked the prices up over the holidays (even for regulars)

I am hoping against hope to go a yard this summer. If my brother in law is still laid off I'm sure he'd take Barney for a few days (not so sure about 10 days to 2 weeks though).

A coworker uses 2 guys who will come to your house once or twice a day. Her parents use them, too.(it is a great deal for multi pet house holds as they charge by the visit / not the # of pets)

I'm not sure what I'll do. But, I am afraid he will not take it well. He is very bonded to his people.

JD, did you happen to catch the holistic vet thread in pet yard? It's a great place to start. I love mine. Of course she is also certified by the Wi state veterinary board and practices in Mn as well. I love that she makes house calls.

Marilyn, Paloma LOVES her shaved butt. Try as she might to keep herself clean, the fact remains that thelong hair on the butt and back legs gets too close to the poop for me. I don't like it. She sleeps in my bed and I want her butt clean!!!

Anyway, she seems to very much like her pretty bare butt. She is a whole lot more playful. Also, she has to spend less time cleaning herself and she isn't licking long fur onto her tongue and down her throat.

This cat will not have a hairy back end no more. This is healthier.

Well, at least you won't have to worry about poop getting caught up in the long hairs back there. I hated that when I had a long haired cat. He hated it too!

No, however, once he go he will know!

This is my youngest, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the oldest one will be able to join me for at least 4 days on my birthday trip. I know the both of them will fall in love once they go!

Did you see Pioneer woman sold the rights to her story Black Heels to Tractor Wheels to Colombia Pictures for a movie and Ree Witherspoon is going to play her? That will be one hell of a movie I think, I can't wait!

glad to hear things are popping up there (((nanook))) my grass looks like hay and now i'm spending money to water it - grass is overrated - i really am thinking of tearing it all out and doing a massive garden in the front - i am sick of taking care of grass - isn't grass a weed?
